I once read a story of a man, who after a decade at war, set out on the perilous voyage home to be reunited with his wife. Through storms, and sirens, and a cyclops, his perseverance and dedication eventually see him all the way to the shore of his home country.

Stories are powerful. The ability to weave history, art, truth, goodness, and beauty, into an abiding story of human experience deepens and elevates a designer's role. We are a people who must think deeply and widely about many subjects, so we can distill our knowledge into brands that delight and inspire. I don't know about you, but I'm a graphic designer.
